Terms of Service
Effective October 13, 2026
1. Who can use Gobboo
You must be at least 13 years old to use Gobboo, and every member of a Family plan must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms on your behalf.
2. What Gobboo is, and isn't
Gobboo is a tool for organizing a budget from information you enter. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and we are not a bank, a financial adviser, or a credit counselor. Gobboo doesn't connect to your bank or move money.
Gobboo's figures, including balances, projections, payoff dates, interest and minimum payments, are estimates calculated from what you enter. They can differ from what your bank, lender or card issuer reports. Check important numbers against your actual statements before relying on them, and make your own financial decisions.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address current.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@gobboo.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Family plans
The owner of a Family plan invites the other members and pays for the plan. The owner can open each member's account and see or change that member's budget. By joining someone's Family plan, you agree to them having that access. The owner is responsible for inviting only people who agree to these terms and meet the age requirement.
5. Plans and payment
The demo is free. Paid plans are not yet available. When they open:
- The price, billing period and what's included will be shown before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, or where we've said so at the time of purchase, payments are not refundable.
- If we change a price, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
Joining a waitlist doesn't commit you to buying anything.
6. Your data
What you enter in Gobboo belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Gobboo for you. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, at any time.
7. Acceptable use
Don't:
- use Gobboo for anything illegal, or to store someone else's information without their permission;
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around Gobboo's security;
- overload, disrupt, or probe the service, or use automated tools to scrape it;
- copy, resell, or reverse-engineer Gobboo, or use it to build a competing product.
If you find a security problem, please report it to us at support@gobboo.com rather than exploiting it.
8. Our property
Gobboo's software, design, name and logo belong to us and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Gobboo while your account is open. They don't give you any ownership of it.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Gobboo and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk. We'll tell you why unless the law or a security concern prevents it. If we ever shut Gobboo down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to get a copy of your data.
10. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Gobboo accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that Gobboo will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its calculations will match your financial institutions.
11. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any financial decision you make using Gobboo, such as missed payments, fees, interest or overdrafts. Our total liability for any claim relating to Gobboo is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Gobboo changes. We'll update the date at the top, and if a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Gobboo after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
